Artists Ben Reid and Annabel Menzies-Joyce came down to Campbell...
The Journey
With a four year gestation, the longest known to man, the Campbell Island Bicentennial Expedition is now underway. Over nine weeks (from Dec 2010 to Feb 2011) a team of 14 intrepid explorers undertook research on this remote and wild island. Come along for the ride, as they post stories of island life sent during the expedition and reminisces upon their return - its wonders, the hardships, the inevitable cabin fever, and possibly some research. But this is just the beginning, with post-expedition outputs culminating in a year-long exhibition at Te Papa (Nov 2012 to 2013) - there's so much more to tell and your support is needed.
